(no subject)

Terminator 3 was okay. Here are some things I liked about it:
  • The gratuitous mayhem of the scene where the arm of a crane plows through trucks, telephone polls, and some kind of retail establishment.
  • The loud clunk whenever the new terminator ran into something big and metal.
  • The completely affectless performance of Kristanna Loken.
  • California!
Here are some things I didn't like about it:
  • Product placement gone mad.
  • Jokes I could tell I wasn't getting because I haven't seen or don't remember the other movies.
  • Kind of a downer.

I didn't glom onto this until it was too late to get a look, so one of you will have to check this for me: Was she wearing heels the whole time? All the running and the jumping and the fighting? Wouldn't that be hard?

She's a robot, man. If she can regenerate after being mostly destroyed by some trucks (that car chase went so long that I stopped paying attention so I don't remember what happened exactly!), then she can defintely run around in heels.

Wait, she's a robot? I'm gonna have to see it again.

Oh, wait...were you talking about the Claire Danes character? Or are you being ironic?

So confused. I'm with you on the depressing ending, though. Ugh.

Aw, I was joking. I was playing "saw a whole movie but somehow failed to grasp its fundamental premises guy". And I was really proud of it, too. I guess I need to develop the character more.

When in doubt, blame the Internet. He hates character development.
