I picked up the first batch from Mixonic today. When I've had more sleep, I'll be excited about it. Meanwhile, here are the facts:
  1. The title is TK. I didn't know about the Breeders album.
  2. [livejournal.com profile] xythian designed the cover.
  3. There are seven tracks:
    1. One and the Same (new mix)
    2. Snowblinded (new mix)
    3. Losing Streak (new recording)
    4. Everything You Read (new recording)
    5. No Time to Lose (new mix)
    6. Ready for the Show (new mix)
    7. By Your Side (exactly as it appears on the web)
  4. All the new stuff will eventually be on the web site, but it isn't now.
  5. I'll be offering it online soon.
  6. I'm proud to have it.

If I buy one, will you sign it "To emma, with love from Joe Feedback" ?

Hey, if you pay me, I'll sign it any way you want. (But you'll have to wait until I come up there--the online sales will be straight from the factory.)

That cover rules.

I give up, what does TK stand for? I never knew what the Breeders album title meant either (or if I did know I forgot). Google offers some suggestions:
  1. Tool Kit
  2. Tokelau
  3. Technik im Krankenhaus
  4. TV Kryachko
  5. Team-Killer
I'm guessing it's that last one.

I was surprised how unhelpful Google was when I was trying to confirm this. TK is, as I understand it, publishing slang for "to come", i.e., a placeholder. I first encountered it in Games Magazine, where either as an error or as part of a contest there was a puzzle with "Answers on page TK".

Totally Killer

Sign me up for a copy.

Oh, man, it just occurred to me what you could have called it: "Welcome Message".

does this mean i have to have to refer to you as "recording artist extraordinaire" erik ostrom from now on?

haha, "by your side"...i wonder how many "units" you'll "shift" from people thinking it's a sade cover!

That's weird, "to kome" occurred to me but I thought that was too lame. I guess I had heard it before. Maybe that lends more credence to the OK = Oll Korrect theory.

All I can say is, it's about time somebody called me something extraordinaire.
