Some suggestions to consider:

  • Fire & Ice, on Church St., steps away from Passim. Pick your raw ingredients from a large salad-bar setup, choose your sauce, and bring them to the grill where they will be assembled into a meal before your very eyes. Excellent option if you're being vegetarian these days.

  • I think there's a restaurant/brewery called Rock City or something like that, also on Church St., right be

  • Border Cafe. Because you don't get enough Mexican food living in California. Good margaritas.

  • Panang. Great Malaysian food, above the garage (the actual garage, diagonally across the street from the minimall called "The Garage") on JFK St.

  • The House of Blues! Before it closes! (If it hasn't already.)

  • There's always Casablanca.

  • There's a cool new place called Grafton St. on the corner of Mass. ave and I'm assuming Grafton, which has one of those big open-air windows in front for people-watching. Decent funky-Irish-pub food.
