jfbI don't know how the show's doing, but I've really been enjoying Karen Sisco on USA. It's no Out of Sight--it doesn't have Soderbergh or Lopez or Clooney or the character he played. But it does have Carla Gugino as the eponymous U.S. Marshal, and Robert Forster is wonderful as her father. And it has something of Elmore Leonard's lightly comic tone and his knack for stories in which multiple characters following their own purposes intersect in entertaining ways.
Okay, I went and looked--apparently how it's doing is, it's actually an ABC show, but it's on hiatus at ABC and meanwhile USA is showing the reruns? Not a great sign, but supposedly it's coming back in March. Meanwhile, you can catch it (or tape it) Tuesdays at midnight. I think. Check your local listings.
