(no subject)

I think I'm going to make some major changes in my cross-country travel plan. This won't be a big deal to anyone who didn't know the original plan, i.e., anyone but me, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Here's a rough sketch of the revised plan:

• Along the southern border, mid-September.
• Asheville, Nashville, and Atlanta, around the 20th.
• The New York - Boston corridor, late September.
• Minnesota, early October.
• Back home by mid-October.

Those are sort of the main areas I'm concentrating on, but I'm also hoping to see Sean in Ohio and meet Blake in Washington and some other things.

Aside from a wedding and some visits with friends and family, I'm hoping to do some performing, although to book gigs I should've started at least a month ago. So if you know any local places along the route that have good open mikes or that book people on fairly short notice, I'd like to hear about them. Or, uh, cool stuff of any description along the way, really. Oh yeah, or if you have a couch I can sleep on. I'm not that cool to hang out with but I do keep out of the way.
