Apr. 25th, 2004 10:13 amSunday morning and I'm about to drive up to Dave Ray's place. It'll be the first time I've seen him since he left San Jose to pursue a career in audio engineering. So I'm looking forward to seeing Dave again, to a good rehearsal, and, of course, to the show tonight.
I've spent way too much time driving this weekend. The relatives I stay with live in Orange County, south of Disneyland, and most of the stuff I want to go to is up around Hollywood, on the north side of LA. So when there's no traffic at all it's an hour or so between them, and it's LA, so there's always traffic.
And yet, strangely, I've got this bothersome itch, not to settle down and spend a day or two in one place, but to get back on the road and drive even more.
