enough about the world

[Update: Here's the real Tin Cat site.]
- That new band? It's not going to be the Dead Horse Beaters--thanks for your votes. Tin Cat (real web site coming soon) has its first show on Saturday!
- Russell and I are playing at Orchard Valley again the following Friday. What do you think of "Yonder Window" as a name for the duo?
- After that, as far as I know, I'm not playing any local shows until October. But I am playing in Fort Atkinson, Minneapolis, and Seattle! And possibly more--I'm still working on it.
- Ken and I are also working on a new edition of TK, because I'm almost out of copies. It'll be the same music, with better packaging. It's been stressful, but it'll look really great.
- The media's bewilderingly fond farewell to Ronald Reagan this summer drove me to find respite my bookshelf, and for the last couple of months I've been browsing through The Clothes Have No Emperor, Paul Slansky's venomous, superficial, chilling and hilarious chronicle of the Reagan years. Highly recommended.
