I've been reading and enjoying The War Against Silence, glenn mcdonald's weekly music column (mostly), for several years, but due to trip preparation I've been lax lately about keeping up. That's why I was surprised, and dismayed for myself and a little bit happy for the author, to learn that next week, after 500 weekly columns, he's going to end it. Also he got married, which is pretty awesome. RIP TWAS.
