Some things I enjoyed last night:

In 2000, I decided to try to be not just a consumer/patron of art but a producer/creator. I mostly think it was a good decision, but it's good to be reminded once in a while how much fun it is just to take in art until you're stuffed.

Ever suddenly realize that sense of impending doom you're feeling might be a result, not of actual impending doom to which you are for some reason acutely sensitive, but of getting about half the sleep you needed the night before?
