Jun. 26th, 2005 07:27 pmSome have shipped from the last batch, some haven't. Here are more:
Nyckelharpa Orchestra, Byss-Calle. That's right, a group consisting solely of six nyckelharpas.
Oliver Nelson, The Blues and the Abstract Truth. One of my favorite jazz albums, due mostly to Nelson's small-group arranging. (I have another copy.)
New World Symphony (Michael Tilson Thomas), New World Jazz. Orchestral music with jazz influences, including Stravinsky, Gershwin, Adams, Raksin.
Mickey Newbury, 'Frisco Mabel Joy. Important country record from 1971.
Christopher O'Riley, True Love Waits. Radiohead covers by a classical pianist.
Tara Jane O'Neil & Daniel Littleton, Music for a Meteor Shower. Introspective instrumentals.
