california calls you

[livejournal.com profile] xythian photographed my going-away party last weekend. The whole set is really moving for me--there are a lot of people I care about in those pictures. But maybe you don't care about all of them, so here are a few of my favorite photos:
Ken also photographed Tin Cat's last show, coincidentally at the same place we played our first show, where Ken took the photographs we used for our web page. I especially like the last one, with me and Dave holding still around the edges while Tom and Evan and Meredith work up a storm in the middle.

I love the one where you look like you're totally bailing.

I like the one of you singing This Must Be the Place with your friends reflected in the window. No idea what the song is about, but the title with the picture is very cool.

Are you coming down? :)

those are great photos! sounds like a great send off. I don't have free daytime time this week ecause I'm in the service of my Rodent Overlord (Disney) and they are constant callers, plus I'm mid home buying negotiation which is very park my ass by the phone during biz hours. So maybe our plan B should be to hang out when we both live in the midwest, I may come up to MNPLS to see my friends Chank and Heidi at some point, and of course at least for me , it's not like my LJ is going to change when my location does.

It's only appropriate.

Yes, um, I have to be out by Nov. 1, so I assume I'll be heading to LA on Halloween. Of course, as usual, I have yet to arrange lodging.

That sounds like a good Plan B, although [livejournal.com profile] marm0t will be displeased. If you still want those books, send me (mailto:eostrom@drowning.org) your address. (And do you want Moody's The Ring of Brightest Angels Around Heaven?)
