the overlooked geography of the ordinary

From the Times:

"A growing number of Cuban immigrants say they favor a more conciliatory approach to Cuban relations."

C.I.A. analysts "said they had felt pressured to make their intelligence reports on Iraq conform to Bush administration policies." Surprise.

"The overlooked geography of the ordinary could be the next terrorist frontier, some people said," and it doesn't get much more ordinary than the San Mateo Bridge.
