Well, first of all, I'm not in San Francisco. Second, I like jazz. Third, although I've grown to not hate San Francisco, I have no idea what you think makes it great. Although there are some good clubs and I like the not smoking (but wait! now New York has that too!), I very rarely see a local band I'd make an effort to see twice.
