After listening to the MP3 of "One and the Same" in the car and realizing I didn't like it, I spent a couple of days trying to make it better. I fixed up the most egregious mistakes; I did some small but significant remixing; and I recorded a whole new vocal track. I'm not sure the new vocal is better, but it has different flaws. I may just have to let this one go and try writing some songs I can sing. Anyway, if you're curious, the new version is on the web site.

i don't think you should let it go at all.
i like it a lot. very beautiful. great harmonies too. =)
i might make a couple changes structurally, and add a little touch of reverb to your voice, but that's it. it sounds pretty good. however, if you aren't comfortable singing it, wait untill you are. keep singing it, and you'll get there. that's just how it works.

There's a little reverb there already, but I've come to like vocals pretty dry. What structural changes would you make?
