As promised, finally, another folk song. It's not even a "folktronica" song (thanks Scott!), although, well, I did use a couple of digitally simulated analog synths. Hm. But no drum loops.

Anyway, "By Your Side" is now up on the web site. I think it's the best song I've written, and the best recording I've made. You, of course, are free to disagree.

I think a key thing I like about the new one is that I can actually sing all the notes. After "One and the Same" that's a huge relief.
