xythian and my close personal friends the staff of Kinko's, I now have some cool flyers for the April 9 show with Russell. (The design is on the web site, if you're curious.) I've handed out flyers for some previous shows, but they were always put together by whoever else I was performing with--this is the first time I've gone through the process of getting someone to design them and getting them printed myself. So that was cool.
While I was pricing out print costs tonight it occurred to me that an open mike I've been going to lately is in an actual print shop, and if cheap flyers for shows aren't somehow beneath their talents, I'd rather give them my money than Kinko's. So this Friday at Jungle Digital Imaging I'm going to ask about it.
