jfbCompliment of the night: "Have you heard of Death Cab for Cutie?" Apparently "By Your Side" reminded her of them, which I didn't get at first but then later I could see it. It was faster than usual.
It just occurred to me that I was still under the Postal Service's influence when I recorded the synth parts for "By Your Side." Huh.
Anyway, I had a fun night. Meredith Edgar sang a harmony part with me on Patty Griffin's "Blue Sky," with only a little rehearsal, and it sounded great.
I just googled to see if Meredith had a web site, and if she does I didn't find it, but I did learn that she opened-opened-opened for Rilo Kiley in 2002.
And that reminded me to look at the DTs' web site. Dave and I were Meredith's backing band tonight. Also I got to play with Dave and Tom on a half-hour set last week, and really want to do it again.

pobig, but he showed up too late to hear any music. Apparently people also come to Red Rock Coffee Company to buy coffee.
