Hey, [livejournal.com profile] talking_sock: Via girlhacker, here are some things to miss about Seattle. Just helping you get an early start.

It keeps confusing me that both Seattle and Portland have a Pioneer Square.

The days when it's been all grey for weeks and then suddenly you can see the Olympics to the west, the Cascades to the east, Rainier southish, and those very rare special days when you can see Baker to the northish. And, if you're me, you say "ALL the mountains are out!" and do your best to not drive out of your lane on the bridge as you admire Baker off in the distance.

Oh, THOSE Olympics. I was all, wha? Sports?

I've only been in Seattle for a week or two in all, but I've had a couple of stay-on-the-bridge moments myself.

This was a nice list. I don't have about 5 of them, though -- and anyone who drives on the floaty bridge to and from work curses it, because it just stands still in traffic hours. This was a reason not to go work for the Evil Software Empire Across the Lake from me.

I might make my own list before I move this week... if I have time.
