Date: 2004-07-19 01:18 am (UTC)Remember when the New York Times had proofreaders who would catch things like "That 70's Show"? They're very careful about the periods in "F.C.C." and "C.S.I." (though not "ABC" and "CBS"?) but their apostrophe checking seems to have gone downhill.
To me, Sally Field will always be the girl from Smokey and the Bandit.
