Elliott Smith, posthumously.

What can't be said on television? Nobody knows. But we do know you can't have an abortion.

Many actor profiles: Denis Leary and his new firehouse drama. Colin Farrell, soon to be a sensitive indie guy. Gustavus grad Peter Krause on Broadway. And after more than three decades and dozens of movies, apparently journalists are still required to put Sally Field's acting career in the context of The Flying Nun.

Charlie Victor Romeo, a play about plane crashes. Free Radicals, a movie about fear of death. And the director's cut of Donnie Darko--who knows?

Wow, that is a stunningly bad drawing of Jon Stewart. It's not even a good caricature. It really captures the essence of Marge Simpson, though.

Remember when the New York Times had proofreaders who would catch things like "That 70's Show"? They're very careful about the periods in "F.C.C." and "C.S.I." (though not "ABC" and "CBS"?) but their apostrophe checking seems to have gone downhill.

To me, Sally Field will always be the girl from Smokey and the Bandit.

Yeah, so I saw the commercial for those Degrassi episodes but then they never showed them and I was confused. I should have thought of that.
