...what's that round thing in the background, south of the Foshay? Did the Hilton add on a tall tower (some time in the past decade...) ?
Ever go up to the top of the Foshay? It was the tallest building in town when I was a kid. Glad you got to the State Fair - but the big carousel lives in Como Park, not so far away from there but not there on the fairgrounds anymore... http://www.ourfaircarousel.org/
Unfortunately I have no idea what the buildings are--for me it's just a pretty picture. And I didn't even make it to the State Fair--I just happened to drive by it.
