Hey, guys, what songs should I play on Saturday? I have a pretty short time (5 songs) to make a good impression.

Realistically I'll probably still be changing the set list when I'm up on stage, but I'm still curious if anyone has an opinion. Comment here or send me email.

What songs?

I don't know about anyone else, but I've had a serious case of earworm from "Losing Streak" ever since Tin Cat played it at the Red Rock about 3 weeks ago. So that one gets my vote, it's definitely a winner...

Awesome, thanks. That's the one that means I have to bring the mandolin, but that's cool--it's an icebreaker.

Don't forget to tear up a picture of the Pope, too.

Something by Cat Stevens ... "If you wanna sing out, sing out ... if you wanna be free, be freeeee."

Umm...I like your songs. Would "One Flight Down" sound ok by yourself? If so, you should do that. I second the vote for "Losing Streak" as well. Ooh, and your cover of "Jessie's Girl"!!!!!!! For me, Eric? Puhleeeeeeeeeeze??

I think "One Flight Down" sounds good solo. I was a little leery of playing it on Sept. 11, but I've been reconsidering. So maybe. "Jessie's Girl" is kind of controversial--I love playing it, but it's probably the only song Russell and I have ever been heckled for.

I was also thinking of doing a whole set of love songs.
