I dreamed that my coworker Barry and I, poring over server logs to try to diagnose a bug, discovered evidence of a sinister global conspiracy, and that someone else working for our employer was either in on it or working to defeat it, but we couldn't tell which. Then: action movie cliches.

Dusted off my cover of the Blue Nile's "From a Late Night Train". I've done this in the past as a jazz-tinged piano number, but there's never a piano around where you need one, so now it's sort of a minimalist bossa on the guitar. Hooray. Also did two other covers, and got to accompany Kristina and Russell.

While he tore down his equipment after the show, Dave put on Steve Reich's "Music for Eighteen Musicians", one of the best recordings ever--on a nice sound system, in a great room. Devastating. Devastating and impossible to exit gracefully--you have to play it to the end. Dave faded it out after about ten minutes. Both of us cringed.
