In California, today is the last day to register. Here are the other states where it's not too late: Alabama, Connecticut, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming. In some of these states it's too late to register by mail--you'd have to hand-deliver it to the registrar of voters this afternoon.

Voted, have voted, forever it seems like. Never seems to do much good, so I remain frustrated as hell. But I still get out to vote, I even live in Florida where we all have an alligator under the porch and chew on matches and only have two brain cells to rub together. Had to get out the mules and ride all the way in to the big city so I could put my X on the page. Now I'll just set back an wait fer the big time rich guys to duke it out, hell boxing is a lot more fun, even a brawl down at the bar is better. At least there you deserve the kick in the ass.
