Times editorial on What Congress Should Do about elections, or should have done in the last four years. Did you know the Pentagon is in charge of voting for all overseas citizens?

I'm glad to see the media start talking about open source voting software. Too little too late, probably, but still.

And I'd have liked to see some mention of preference voting and proportional representation, but I guess that's a different level of election reform.

Yeah, I think the Times is a little too cautious for that. They did come out against the electoral college a few weeks ago.
