The Tin Cat show was a lot of fun--we were in the courtyard outside Borders, which meant people would walk by thinking they were going to go shopping, and get stuck listening to us instead. Exactly the way we wanted it. We played two Christmas songs. The Altamont Pass show was fun, too, with less walk-in traffic but more coffee.

The Weepies house concert was excellent, and also I learned that they are Blue Nile fans. We're everywhere.

We are everywhere.

Can you believe they waited seven years to put out the latest album?

Oh man, see my next post, but also: The Weepies and I exchanged words on the new album ("have you heard...? yeah, it wasn't really..."). I wasn't grabbed by it at first, but I'm about to give it another go; I wasn't grabbed by Peace at Last, either, and I ended up liking that a lot.

The Orchard Valley show was great and it was nice to eat a portabello sandwich with you once again.

Yes... you know, it almost doesn't need the meat.
