I keep recommending flickr to people, but I think their UI is difficult and weird in places. Mostly I'm recommending it for large storage if you pay.

Well, yeah, although... difficult and weird compared to what?

I'm considering the pay version less for storage than for upload bandwidth. But I tend to have occasional months in which I have way more photos than the free version will allow, among much more common months when I barely post anything at all.
