Architecture of Density

[livejournal.com profile] celie posted a link to these amazing photographs by Michael Wolf. You get the gist from the web versions, but I really want to get to the exhibition in San Francisco and see them full-size.

Those are phenomenal. I would consider a trip up there just to see the exhibition.

Wow, LA to SF for art? That's dedication. I'm like an hour away and I'm not sure I'll make it. But then I'm phenomenally lazy.

Speaking of which, actually, I may be heading down to Orange County for a few days (Sat-Wed, roughly). Anything going on in LA that I should try to catch?

The Arcade Fire! That's where all the cool kids are going to be. Unfortunately, tickets are incredibly sold out.

The Light/Motion/Dreams at the Natural History Museum exhibit is really cool. Hmm. I will let you know if I can think of anything else.

Saw Light/Motion/Dreams a couple of visits ago (http://journal.drowning.org/173861.html). It was fantastic.

I guess I'll miss all the cool kids. There's nothing left for me but hobbits (http://www.oneringcelebration.com/), or maybe tap-dancing hobbits (http://www.plays411/fellowship).

I get the sense you'd need to see the full-size pictures to properly appreciate them. Those shots look a little small, without detail.
