Josh Marshall, who has been all over the social security privatization debate in sometimes excruciating detail, has a pretty good summary of the issues today, in the context of a response to Nicholas Kristof's latest Times column.

Less overtly political but easier to dance to: Josh Woodward's new album is out - for a limited time, two CDs for $5. Josh is a frequent winner over at Songfight (for example, the week I entered), and also a Peter Mulvey fan, so how could that not be worth it?

It's funny, if I had a nickel for every "really good summary of the social security situation" I've come across, I'd be rich.

The logical, reality-based debate is tilted so far in favor of the democrats it continues to boggle my mind that it's still even an issue.
