Feb. 7th, 2005 12:33 pmVideotapes go out today. How about some CDs? How about some CDs from the "S" section? Links to Allmusic album entry, or artist's web site.
The jazz section:

Sometimes I buy classical music.
Again, free if I kind of know you or you really want it. This offer is not limited to LiveJournal users; mail me if you'd rather not leave a comment here.
I should maybe mention that the fact that I'm giving a CD away doesn't mean I don't like it. Some of these are duplicates, or, well, this album is good, but I have a better one from the same band, so why would I ever listen to this one? A few of them are probably scratched--if you get one that doesn't play, I'll refund your money.
Ken Stringfellow Soft Commands. You know, from the Posies.
dougoSorten Muld III. Danish folk ballads, with electronic beats.
rutempleSing-Sing The Joy of Sing-Sing. Indie pop.

morganitaShudder to Think Pony Express Record. I really liked their soundtrack work, and Nathan Larson's solo album.
dougo- Scatterbrain Here Comes Trouble. One of those rap-metal-funk-everything bands that people I knew liked in college. No one should go to their grave without at least once hearing "Down With The Ship", their pastiche of every rock lick available.
- The Sheila Divine New Parade. Don't remember it, people tell me they're good.
Bruce Springsteen The Ghost of Tom Joad. Quiet and political.
