Hey, this is fun! I was going to try some books next, but it seems I'm not yet sufficiently detached from them. So here are some "T" CDs.


Singing:

• Vienna Teng Waking Hour. I have two of these, the original self-released edition and the Virt Records release, for which David Henry remixed and maybe re-recorded some songs. The former might be of interest to fans if they don't already have it.

• Jacky Terrasson What It Is. The pianist with a big ensemble and a Fender Rhodes. Promo copy (no notes).
  
• Jacky Terrasson A Paris.... French songs, and one by Cole Porter. Bireli Lagrene guests.
  
• Stanley Turrentine Sugar. The quintessential CTI record. George Benson, Ron Carter, etc. tombking
  
• Tarwater Silur. Shares a member with To Rococo Rot. dougo
  
• Erik Truffaz Revisité. Remixes of recordings by the French trumpeter. Lots of Rhodes.
  
• Trans Am Trans Am. "Absolutely horrendous!" -- All Music Guide morganita
  
• Art Tatum Ultimate Art Tatum. 16 songs by the astonishing pianist, selected by Hank Jones. bushmiller
  
• The James Taylor Quartet Creation. This James Taylor is a British organist, key to the rise of acid jazz. Features the theme from "Starsky and Hutch", which a friend of a friend once described as one of his most memorable concert experiences. tombking
  
• Cecil Taylor Jazz Advance. First album by the avant-garde jazz pianist.
  
• The Adam Theis Ensemble Revival Kit. Smaller band from a member of Cannonball.
  
• Steve Turre Steve Turre. Trombone and conch shells, Afro-Cuban rhythms, Regina Carter, a little Cassandra Wilson. CD only, no liner.

I'm so dense that if you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have realized you're grouping these albums by letter.

Most of these date from a few years ago when I listened to all of my CDs in roughly alphabetical order, set aside hundreds to sell, and didn't get around to most of them. So those were all grouped by letter, pretty much, kind of, and since then I've kept the groupings up, sometimes. The T section was actually T and U, but all three U2 CDs went straight to my sister.
