I liked it, but I don't remember liking it that much. I'd say I should watch it again, just to verify, but with 500 movies on my stagnant Netflix queue, I think we know that's not happening.

My Netflix queue is stagnating even more than usual so I can watch, and get rid of, the DVDs I own--which is how I got back to The Limey.

How does a stagnating queue help you watch more movies? I must know the secret!

(Unless by stagnating, you mean you're not adding enough movies to it...)

I'm not watching more movies, but when I watch movies, they're not Netflix ones.

I had the unpleasant realization that at my current rate, I wasn't likely to watch all the movies I owned, watch the movies on my Netflix list, or read all the books I owned within my lifetime. And that's assuming no additions. Sigh.

Hey, so if you're getting rid of it, I'll take it ..

Oddly, I mentioned The Limey to someone just Sunday. He was talking about some blog which had a conversation going about "favorite revenge movies" and I thought of The Limey .. It'd be on my list ..

This is probably the best Soderbergh movie, but that's not saying a whole bunch. I love the commentary track where Lem Dobbs rips him for ruining his script -- and Dobbs is right.

I think the movie plays much, much, much better in a theater -- the craft in the sound editing works much better in a big theater.

Still, it's a good movie, even if it's Soderbergh ripping off Point Blank for much of it.
