Seth Stevenson thinks Joss Whedon should stick to TV. Usually when people say that it's an insult; I think here it's a compliment.

I wouldn't mind if "Firefly" became a series of movies, as long as they were 13 hours long every year.

I don't understand the allure of Whedon. Reading that article, it makes me glad that I've not seen much of his stuff -- if the only good things that can be said about him is that he imbues his characters with horrible dialogue, then what's the draw? Melodrama and self-consciously clever writing? I'll pass.
