Lost control on an icy patch of I-84 and hit the outside wall--not very hard. I am fine, my car looks fine (at least in the dark), but it vibrates disconcertingly when I reach freeway speeds. Tomorrow I'll take it to the one gas station in town and see if they can diagnose, then possibly drive it 120 miles to the Toyota dealer in Missoula. Meanwhile I'm stuck for the night at the Lookout Motel in Mullan, Idaho, with virtually no cell phone service (I get analog or no-bar digital, and even that is intermittent) and no room phone. There's a pay phone out in the parking lot. It's cold out in the parking lot.

And I have free wi-fi from a random Linksys router somewhere in the neighborhood.

La la la I am worried and lonely.

I kind of miss playing. Also I wonder if my instruments still work after days in the trunk.
