Oh, by the way, the band's still together.  We're finally playing our first San Francisco show on Thursday, and if you're in the area and reading this, give me your phone number, so I can call you and beg you to come--we could really use some audience.  We're also booking two short and unprofitable tours along the west coast this summer.  More details on that as they arrive.  Oh yeah and someday the CD will be ready.

That was a fun little set, plus it's always cool when we get to back up other musicians--I think Dave was playing for the last hour and a half.

Augh! I actually could have come, if I'd only checked your lj while I was in the SF area for the week, instead of today now that I'm back home. Though in the end, I spent Thursday night collapsed on the bed in my hotel room, finally unwinding from a week spent visiting huge software vendors with spooks, so maybe I wouldn't have been able to drag myself over anyway. And I came very close to missing my flight out of SFO Friday morning, and going out the night before might have pushed me over the edge...

I'm totally rationalizing. Sorry I missed it--if I get out there again, I'll be sure to get in touch.

It's probably a good thing you missed it. We didn't go on until 11, and didn't get the sound right until 11:30. Pretty good half-hour after that, though. Next time....
