All this talk about French fries and Freedom Toast suddenly made me nostalgic for Petite Abeille, the cafe where I used to go for amazing Belgian waffles in Manhattan.

Leave it to a Republican politician from Ohio to rename this. French Toast (http://www.stratsplace.com/rogov/french_toast.html) actually is named after its creator, Joseph French, who originated it in 1724 in Albany. That's Albany, New York.
