jfbI don't go home for lunch much, but I always enjoy it when I do. Today I eschewed cooking: A peanut butter and strawberry preserves sandwich, some storebought baked tofu with some kind of thai peanut sauce, and a tangelo for dessert. Mmm.
When I'm home for lunch, I can watch tv. I watched a Friends episode I'd taped just after the war started, on the theory that sitcoms would help me cheer up in the days ahead. Hooray.
It's not often the South Bay is the subject of live coverage on all three cable news channels.
