From Studio Briefing:
CBS brought out the Broadway cast of Chicago to serenade advertisers who got a look at the network's planned programming for the first time at the network's Carnegie Hall presentation Wednesday. At one point they concluded a number, to the tune of "All That Jazz," this way: "Come on babe / It's time to pay upfront / We want your clients' cash / If we may be so blunt / You've gotta buy today / Or else you'll really pay / For all. Those. Ads."

wow, i didn't think i could hate network television AND the musical chicago any more than i already did, but there ya go.

by the way, i'm unlurking from my super-sekrit LJ account cuz i'm tired of posting comments anonymously. don't bother looking for an LJ though, there ain't one. eventually i'll probably mirror my MT blog over there. now i just need to figure out how to get one of those crazy LJ buddy icons.

hi erik!

Hi Sean! There's always more room for hating network television.
