Having crashed a Volvo and a Toyota, or rather having had one of each crashed out from under me, I feel much safer in the Volvo. Because while the Volvo may drive beautifully, drive comfortably, an crash beautifully, I do none of these things. Why, I might add, is the fourth elemet of the matrix, namely "crash comfortably," missing? I think the crash in the Volvo was much more comfortable than the crash in the Toyota -- perhaps as much as 40% more comfortable.
