Today is my last day at work. It is, of course, weird.

My finger seems to be mostly recovered, although I need to follow up on something from the X-ray. The mysterious pain in my chest is gone today.

Procrastination and preoccupation have me woefully behind on my music plans; many of the places I was hoping to play have already booked September. I will still make the trip, because I want to.

I have nothing much to say, it just seemed like a good time to take stock.

good luck

Are you getting your own health insurance post-job? I hope so.

Sure is sad about Katharine Hepburn. I just realized I never saw a bunch of the Spenser Tracy films. Maybe it's time to join netflix.

Well, I have the COBRA option, but I've been advised that it might be cheaper to get an individual plan, and also ACM has group insurance. So I'll have something.

I think I've only seen one Tracy-Hepburn movie, and I didn't like it, but I'm willing to take another shot. Netflix has about a dozen Hepburn movies, but only Pat and Mike and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? with Tracy.

Good luck. From the sweaty bosom of corporate suckitude, I envy you.

I get the feeling that this is the part of the movie where John Belushi looks you in the eye and you both say, "road trip..."

I'm looking forward to the eastern leg of your tour.
