New song on the web site, "No Time to Lose." It's got those fake drums I was talking about the other night, and between that and the electric mandolin, sounds more like a rock song than most of mine do. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm not that happy with the mix on this one, but I think I've heard it too much to do any more fixing right now. There might be another revision in the next couple of weeks, but for now I have to move on to something else.

Cool song. Something about the rhythm and chord progression reminds me of The Lilys' "Ginger", which in turn has always reminded me of The English Beat's "Save It For Later". Unfortunately I don't have a copy of either song, but I'm sure you can track them down if you want.

I agree with the drums being a little out of place because of their electronica feel, but if you you got organic drums I think it woudl be great! Once you do that you can remix it and see what happens at least.

Dave says more drums please. He really really really likes it. A lot. But he likes more drums.
