Kansas has a bayou? What the heck is up with Missouri? It's full of weird lawn art. Who knew? Texas, though -- we all knew. Even about the crooked stuff.
The "bayou" photo was taken (on foot) from a bridge over a little river in Wichita, on my way to a cool cafe called Riverside Perk.
Both Missouri photos are from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (see other reply for link), and the guy walking in front of the headless statues is Kenny.
On I-40 in Texas there are billboards advertising the LARGEST CROSS IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE, and that's what I photographed. Questions: Is it really the largest cross in the western hemisphere? And if so, what eastern hemisphere cross prevents it from claiming the world title?
(Thanks for giving me an excuse to provide notes!)
whoa
