Real Food Daily:
On the way out of Kill Bill a guy gave someone a thumbs up, and, when I looked at him quizzically, explained that he loved my shirt. What he really meant, though, was that he loves the band that's on it.
Now I'm in a cafe in Little Armenia, on, I guess, the anniversary of the 1915 genocide, which is a little sobering, but there's jazz on the radio and apparently Canada has just announced its recognition of the genocide, so things aren't all bad.
- I accidentally parked about six blocks from the restaurant, which I think is the farthest I've ever walked in Los Angeles.
- I got the roseberry iced tea, which was great, and
europopkid, I saw what I assume was a regular iced tea pitcher, and it looked fine. Are you sure you didn't order the iced sludge?
- Aside from that, the food was very good, but too expensive for me to eat there alone again.
- There sure are a lot of beautiful people working as waitstaff in LA.
