I almost didn't read them, but a trio of travel pieces on India were my favorite part of today's paper. R. W. Apple finds wildlife and color in Kerala. Nancy R. Newhouse visits the dentist in Rajasthan. And Amy Waldman explores the contradictory narratives of the Taj Mahal.

"Teenagers like their parents" made me think of Strauss & Howe's generational theories, and sure enough Strauss is quoted in the article. It's sort of eerie how accurate their predictions have been so far.
Still anxious about the coming Fourth Turning, now that it's clear that 9/11/01 wasn't it.
