Joe Conason, in Salon, thinks the anti-war movement should march on Iraq--well, hold demonstrations at Iraq's embassies to protest its failure to cooperate with the United Nations, and to drive home the point that opposition to a U.S. invasion does not equal support for Saddam Hussein.

I think I agree with him. The problem, as I see it, is that we'll have to come up with a whole new batch of pithy slogans.

I think we'd have the same problem with Saddam that we have with Dubya -- how do you get them to actually *listen* to the protests?

Although I agree completely that being anti-war (or at least anti- this war) shouldn't be taken as support for tyrants, foreign or domestic.
